why he started to run we'll never know. did he allow the adrenaline to build to a point that blocked out any form of rational thinking? how is it that we are transported into direction? what happens inside? i think the decision was not to run off the edge but, to bring himself into a dimension where he would be free from deciding. his companion watched aghast as he disappeared over the side.
